Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Music Hall
The Music Hall, November 30th – December 18th: Watch the tale as old as time come to life filled with the same characters and music that you love from the original film. The play tells the story of the Beast, a prince trapped under a spell, and Belle, the young woman who he falls in love with, who just might break the curse. 26th Annual Gingerbread House Contest
Discover Portsmouth, December 2nd – December 23rd: Celebrate this city-wide vintage Christmas tradition in Portsmouth and stop by the Historical Society to see gingerbread houses created by local businesses, artists, families, and kids at this free exhibition that is open to the public. Strawbery Banke 37th Annual Candlelight Stroll
Strawbery Banke Museum, December 3rd – December 18th: Rediscover Christmases of the past by participating in this historic event put on at Strawbery Banke. On this interactive tour, you’ll stroll from house to house and be greeted by costumed role players who share their holiday stories and traditions of yore.
